Dates & Times for Pick Your Own

Closed for picking in 2022, see you next year in May/June 2023

Unfortunately this year has been very difficult, first with the floods and our loosing half our crop and then incredible rain events through the growing season.  The lack of sunshine has also affected the fruit that remained and although there are Imperial mandarins on the trees they are of poor quality and we feel they are not good enough for your consumption so have made the decision not to open again this year.  We hope next year will be better and we can see all our customers again.

NEXT YEAR – 2023

Mandarins, Lime & Oranges

Fords Farm will open again in May/June 2023 for fruit picking but BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL – you will be unable to enter the orchard without a booking and walk-ins are not allowed.   Simply click on the box “Pick Your Own Mandarins” on our Home Page to choose  the date and time you wish to visit.  There is a booking fee of $10.00 per car and this will allow up to 6 people in your car to enter.  This $10 fee is for your car only, it is not per person.

Refunds on Bookings:  All bookings will close 24 hrs before event when you will no longer be able to change or cancel your booking or receive a refund.  Should Fords Farm cancel your bookings because there is no fruit left or you cancel because you are unwell we will arrange a refund of your booking fee (as long as it is 24 hrs before your booking time)

Please note we cannot guarantee the volume of fruit available for picking on any given day especially as the season progresses.
